Top Local Tips for Desert Hot Springs

day spa there are some great spas in dhs, this isn't one of them. the 'hooker' comment someone left before i did was pretty true. lots of shady people in the area. go for the day spa somewhere else. go for everything else - anywhere else. there are a few places close by that are a little more - a lot more, but it's worth it. believe me. i will never travel in that area again without a reservation.

Thursday night Market Go to Palm Springs for the Thursday night market. The shops are open late and the road is closed so the vendors can display their artwork, fruits, and treats of all kinds. Definitely worth doing with the whole family. Safe and fun for an evening stroll down the old stomping grounds of the past Hollywood entertainers.

where to eat do NOT eat at 'FAMILY STYLE SEAFOOD" on the main street a few blocks away. Do NOT eat in the cafe of Desert Hot Springs Spa. go nedt door to Miracle Springs and try the crab cakes, baby back ribs - do not sit next to the filthy plants in the divider. Old fashioned deep fried everything unhealthy at the 'home cooked meals place on Pierson', avoid if possible. Call up two Bunch Palms and reserve restaraunt seating there, or go into Palm Springs to eat.
