We arrived amidst typical coastal showers. The front desk staff we extremely warm and helpful. The room one of the nicest I've had any where and the amenities were more than sufficient. Due to the storm, we had a fairly long power outage, so the front desk sent extra fire logs to our room. Did not do much to keep the room warm, but made for a very romantic setting. The in-house restaurant is nice and prices fairly moderate. During the week and off season, you won't find many restaurants open other than the Tide's Inn at the wharf, so plan accordingly. Keep in mind the area is somewhat remote so nearby shopping is minimal, but the views can be awesome. Also at night and in the fog the tree lined street is very dark, so be alert and keep your bearings. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we plan to go back soon. Very highly recommended for a quiet, romantic getaway, or just to feel a million miles from the city and relax with a good book.
