My family and I spent 7 nights at the super 8 on Katella Ave a couple of weeks ago and we found it to be a fantastic motel,the service was warm and friendly and very comfortable rooms and also very clean.A very close walk to all the amenities Anaheim has to offer (Disneyland, 7 eleven,family resturants etc).We recommend the super 8 to anyone,we are going back in a couple of years and we will be staying there again.

Family vacation tips When going to Disneyland, go in the off-season and in the mid-week, the crowds were small then and take sunscreen even if it's only a mild 70 degrees, the sun can still burn you. Bring a watch so you can be sure when to hit certain events in the park. If you can get in a hotel with a shuttle or find one to where you can hike it to the tram, you can save at least $11 on parking at Disney. When looking for a hotel deal, go through multiple hotel web-sites to get the best deal and make sure you can get on the top floor if you don't mind the stairs, people can be unintentionally noisy if you are underneath them. When you're out looking for a good breakfast that's not a McDonalds, try Coco's, they were about as affordable as Denny's but the food was much better.

Eat at the Sizzler around the corner! There is a sizzler around the corner that gives you a discount for staying at the hotel! Good food and good service!

GPS was a life saver My husband and I have not been to LA before. We thought we could get around, so we opted out of the Garmin option at the car rental agency. We left there, and got lost immediately. Very difficult for us to navigate the LA area. We made it back to the car rental place and rented the Garmin. Well worth the $11.00/day. It helped us to get to Hollywood, Venice Beach and of course Disneyland. We're planning on getting one for our personal use now.
