My Daughter and I try to spend atleast 2 weekends away each year. We started when she was 16 and now she is 26, Married, and expecting my first Grandchild. In 2003 we decided to stay local and act like a couple of Kids at Disneyland. I had booked the Peacock Suites online so I really had no idea what were upon to fall upon. We were very pleasantly surprised with what we found. The room was was clean and layed out very nicely. The french doors between the sleeping area and the "Livingroom" made it very quaint. The employees were very helpful and extremely courtious. The shuttle that picked us up right out front for Disneyland kept things simple and we had a wonderful time. I would certainly stay again....next time with my Grandson. (-:

The Peacock is a very nice hotel that provided my family with the right accommodations, for the right price. The rooms was clean and comfortable. There was no trace of smell from the smoking floors, and the cleaning people were friendly and efficient. It is a little far from Disney Land for walking, but the shuttle comes fairly frequently, if you're willing to pay more for a family than you would pay to park at the park. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Shuttle service to and from Disneyland and hotel This is a great way to get around. The cost is $3.00 for the entire day and you must buy your pass at the the desk. The stop is right in front of the hotel and runs about every 20 minutes. When you get to the Disneyland gate you can get other shuttles to go shopping, to resturants and the Crystal Cathedral. The drivers are very helpful and have all kinds of info you need for your day. The shuttles start running 1 hour before the gates open and run for one half hour after closing.
