It's a nice hotel with convenient location (close to highway). Prices are very reasonable and it has single, double bed and family room to choose from. I was quite satisfied with my stay there.

becarewhatyouchoose don't book a two star hotel online if at all possible.

Disneyland We paid for a birthday party with Pat E. Cake at Disneyland. Unless you have money to burn, it was not worth the price. All we got was a small round cake with a limited amount of icing and sprinkles, some paper hats and a thimble size of warm lemonade in plastic "souvenir" cups. Mickey and Minnie made an appearance, but there were so many people who wanted their pics, that someone actually pushed another family out of the way to get the pic. It would have been so much nicer, if M and M had made their rounds to the tables, so that each party could get some pics with Mic and Min alone. Also, there should have been refills of lemonade, maybe some ice with it. Also, they could have done more with acknowledging the different people celebrating their birthdays. Cost was $16.99 per person, I would have rather made reservations at Blue Bayou for a nice b-day meal. It was nice that Disney gave our b-day people buttons to wear and have all park employees say happy birthday all day.

Look into closer hotels to the park There are many hotels right across the street from Disneyland. They are worth the extra $10 a night. The Alamo is not across the street, its across the parking lot of the Disneyland (the end) you need to walk through the back of the Paradise Pier hotel then through California Adventure and have to wait until noon to enter the park unless you are staying at the California Grand. Or walk all the way around and through downtown disney to get into the parks. Save time and stay on South Harbor, just walk across the street and you are at the tram drop off, gate is a few feet away!
