Top Local Tips for Tucson

Third visit...three seasons!! February is a lovely month to be in Tucson! Weather was great. We went this time in Feb. to attend the big Gem Show, which takes over the entire town. Also got to Sierra Vista this trip, to Fort Huchulcha (?). Interesting, nice ride. Very overwhelming for a first-timer, but I want to go next year again! October is still hot, but evenings are cool. So much to do...Sonora Desert Museum, drive down to Tubac, Nogales. In April, my husband and I visited again and did more day trips around the area, Casa Grande ruins in Coolidge, Nogales again, Bisbee, which is beautiful, Tombstone, which is a lot of fun. And he DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun is a "must see"....not like other galleries or museums in the area. Very well run and interesting. We'll be back...still so much to see!
