Top Local Tips for Tucson

Tucson isn't that great of a town. Most of Tucson looks like it's stuck in 1977. The nicer part of town is north of the city, in Oro Valley. There are also nicer resorts, restaurants and golf courses there.

Tuscon- what to do and not to do Take the time to drive east of Tuscon up to Mt. Lemmon. Several pull offs with incredible views. Going all the way to the top was anti-climatic, but wonderful vistas along the way. Then go west in the other direction and drive out to the Arizona Desert Musem admiring the cactus along the way. Don't bother with Tombstone or Old Tuscon, both were tourist traps and not worth the time or money.

I-10 construction If you're driving into town on I-10 beware there is construction on the far west of town. Exit on Kolb not Broadway.
