Beware of Room 101

First of all, a whole bunch of little lies in the hotel description: satellite TV - yes, about three and half channels available, motels have more, luxuriouss (this is how THEY spell it, not me) bath robes - wish I could see or better have one. Wireless Internet: in the room now it works and now it doesn't and you have to take your laptop to the lobby to realize that practically every guest has to do it. But the biggest problem is taking an office or rather broomstick closet adjacent to the elevators, lobby, bar (open until 2am) and turn it into Room 101. No sleep during the night or quiet during the day as you can hear every possible sound from the lobby and the bar. Beware!

I was bumped to the Twin Palms Hotel by another hotel and boy was I glad. It was much nicer, the staff was exceptional and the birds were a rare treat. The General Manager and Assist General Manager went out of their way to welcome me, one lonely guest. It was an awesome experience.
