Impressive Customer Service

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was wonderful and we really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. We were very impressed with the staff. We found the facility on the internet and made the reservations over the internet. Jeff Morrison, Front Desk/Concierge replied right away and was so very helpful. We were celebrating a 50th Birthday and he sent us a link with the nicest restaurants in Sedona and after we picked one he made the reservations for us. It was a wonderful restaurant with good food. Just that morning my husband and I were talking about "What a lost art good customer service is these days". Well the staff at Las Posadas of Sedona proved us wrong. We also enjoyed the gourmet breakfast and homemade cookies in the room we thought Shawn the chef was wonderful. Thanks again for such a nice birthday. You have the best staff.

Wonderful Place to Stay

This was a marvelous place to stay during our three day visit to Sedona. It is a collection of vacation apartments located in Oak Creek about 10 - 15 minute drive south of the city of Sedona. While it does not provide the services of a hotel or spa resort, we had a practically new suite that included a bedroom and living room with a fridge and microwave. The two rooms were separated by a two-facing fireplace. In addition we had a private two or three person hot tub located outside on the patio, which we used every day. The conditions were immaculate. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful with recommendations on where to eat and what to do. The chef du hotel fixed unique and exquisite three-course breakfasts each morning. He was also quite engaging and very forthcoming with his suggestions of fine dining in the area. This was the highlight of our vacation in Arizona. It will make your stay in Sedona delightful and relaxing.

We went to Sedona for our 1st wedding anniversary this past weekend & stayed at Las Posadas. The staff, especially Jeff, were incredibly nice & helpful with just about everything from making reservations, which trails to hike, and directions. Our room was beautiful & it was nice having the enclosed hot tub ready to go after a day of hiking. The breakfasts in the morning were delicious & very filling. The afternoon appetizers were nothing to get excited about, but the rest of the amenities made up for that. The place is about a 10 minute drive outside of Sedona but definitely worth it & we actually liked having an area that was less busy. There is a lot of construction in the area & Sedona but not hard to get around. We would absolutely recommend Las Posadas to our friends & family and would love to stay there again.

incredible room and service

My wife and I recently stayed at the beautiful Las Posadas. When we arrived, Jeff at the front desk was very accommodating. We were able to get a late check out and he was helpful with directions and recommendations. The room and view was outstanding and the bed was beyond comfortable! An added bonus was the personal chef for breakfast! He was very personable and accomodated my wife's vegetarian diet. A nice weekend getaway from the daily grind.

Wonderful Two Days

The owners take great pride in the property. This is evident from the wonderful beds to the gourmet breakfasts. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated. Our room has a living space, small kitchen and large bedroom.

The Bell Rock hiking trail is within walking distance of the property. The views are outstanding.

The nicest feature for our family is that the property is away from the commercialism of downtown Sedona, but close enough to make a quick trip to town for groceries.

We highly recomend Las Posadas.

Great Stay

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Las Posadas. The suites are very nice with Serta mattresses, a living room and small kitchenette that allowed us to store drinks, etc.

The room comes with a 3-course breakfast and afternoon appetizers. FYI - these aren't your typical cereal with eggs and sausage breakfasts! We had rice pudding, cuban pork with black beans and eggs, sauteed pears with granola and many other outstanding dishes. Certainly they will accomodate any dietary needs. Sean is the main chef and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Carlos, the GM, is also quite skilled in the kitchen!

Jeff, the Concierge, gave us great recommendations on activities and had things set up in advance!

The one negative I read about was the construction. Unfortunately this is occurring through much of the area given the ever-increasing popularity. The construction was not a big deal, though we were there
during the week... weekends may be much worse with more tourists.

The other thing to recognize is that Las Posadas is about 20 minutes away from Sedona downtown. That means you have to drive to do things but the nice thing was the location was closer to I-17 which is the route to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Phoenix, etc. so while it's not
directly downtown, if you decide to stay here as a base, it's a good location to get to multiple places.

My wife and I would highly recommend Las Posadas!

Loved the Bed and Breakfast!

We just returned from a trip out West. Started in Las Vegas, drove to the Grand Canyon and then south to Sedona for a few days. While in Sedona, we stayed at Las Posadas Bed and Breakfast and loved it. The rooms were large and comfortable - with a see through fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The hotel is about a year old - very new by hotel standards and everything was top notch. My husband and I enjoyed the gourmet breakfast, but my picky teenage sons were not as impressed so the Chef made them their own custom breakfasts during our two night stay. The staff at Las Posadas went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Would definately recommend.

Sedona was awesome - it's a must see for anyone heading out west. The only drawback, which is not the fault of the hotel, is that a nearby highway is being widened which caused traffic delays getting around town.

Nice, but expensive and view was not worth the price

First the good news. The hotel is very attractive, adobe style, 2-story. Our suite was very large. It had a living room, separate bedroom (but no door between the living and bed rooms), a kitchen area with a table and chairs, refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, and microwave, and a large bathroom with a large tub and separate large stall shower. Televisions in both the living room and bedroom. Staff was very accommodating. They brought appetizers in the afternoon (ours was artichoke on pita bread) and there was a small cookie jar with small cookies. They served a sit-down breakfast that was excellent. Breakfast didn't start until 8:00. We were still on east coast time, so that was a little late for us.

What the pictures don't show is that the hotel is right on the road. Fortunately, there was very little traffic after bed time, so we were not bothered much. We paid extra to get a room with a view, which turned out to be pretty weak. From one window, we could see a rock formation (along with a propane tank), but there was nowhere in the suite where you could sit and see the view. Very disappointing. The refrigerator was stocked with snacks and drinks at outrageous prices. Some were as much as ten times retail. We bought a 12 pack of Coke and a 10 pack of popcorn for what we would have paid for one can of Coke and one package of popcorn in the room. I don't mind paying more, but 10x is ridiculous. Prices for faxing were also very high: $5 for the first page; $1 per page after that. I suspect that they are just trying to discourage faxing altogether.

The only ice machine was in the office which closed at 8:00pm. But if you plan ahead, they will bring you ice before they close.

There was no night lock on the door. Not a problem, but a little surprising.

All in all, a very nice place, but expensive, and not worth the premium price for the "view."

Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff was very informative
and helpful throughout our entire stay. Very peaceful setting with enchanting views. Also, the gourmet breakfast was well worth getting up for to get the days started.

Loved everything about our experience in Sedona.

This is one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed at and we are definitely spoiled now! The rooms (spacious suites actually, with your own private entrance) are beautiful and very clean, the bed is really comfortable, the bathroom is luxurious and the fireplace gives it that special touch. Booking a jacuzzi room is worth it ... you'll get a full size jacuzzi on your private, enclosed patio. The gourmet breakfast served each morning was delicious. Another nice surprise was the hors d'oeurves delivered to our suite every afternoon. The location is perfect ... it is easy-to-find, only 10 minutes from town, and even though it sits right off of a main road, it was very quiet. The service is outstanding too ... the staff booked our tours and made dinner reservations for us even before we arrived. We highly recommend Las Posadas!

Top Local Tips for Sedona

Pink Jeep Tours Skip the touristy stuff downtown. Ask the folks at the front desk to sign you up for a Pink Jeep tour, preferably the Broken Arrow tour.

Sightsee early If you're traveling outside of the peak (spring, summer) season, do you sightseeing early. There tends to be more sunlight early in the morning before clouding up. It makes for better picture taking, and you won't feel as rushed to get to the next site before the sun sets.

Trip to Jerome A Great and unique excursion is to the small mountaintop town of Jerome with a must dining experience at the Asylum Restaurant. Be sure and make a reservation for a patio table.
