Top Local Tips for Sedona

Take a helicopter tour for a real view of the area! We took a helicopter tour with Red Rock Helicopter tours and loved it! We debated about whether to do the helicopter tour or the jeep tour and after flying over about 4 jeeps practically in a line on the same well worn path we knew we had made the right decision. We flew into canyons that were unreachable by motor vehicle and really got to see all of Sedona (literally!). Out pilot was very knowledgable and friendly. We took the more expensive tour and have to say that it was worth it but if you want to do a shorter one it wouldn't cost any more than the jeep tour and I think you'd get more out of it. After all, how many of us fly in helicopters every day?

Vortexs Apparently there are "Vortexes" in the area...but we didn't "get it"....I guess you need to be more open minded than we were!!

Great Restaurant-great atmosphere Be sure to try the Cowboy Club near the 179/89A Y intersection - order to buffalo!
