Top Local Tips for Scottsdale

Taxis are a rip off! Get a quote before you arrive to your desination. In Phoenix/Scottsdale cabs are not cost per mile regulated like in NYC. Most charge anywhere from between $1.80-2.25 a mile depends on them. There are car services that charge a flat fee from the hotel to airport about 40 bucks and also have a flat charge to go from resort to resort. I found that more dependable.

Great access to the 101 loop Great way to get around Phoenix /Scottsdale.

Jeep tours of the desert One of the best things we did was go on a two hour jeep tour of the desert. We had so much fun!Sure, it was hot, but then- it was the desert! We learned all about the cacti and animals that live in the desert as well as how the native americans survived and thrived in the desert.
