Don't go to Los Olivos This restaurant was recommended to us for good, basic mexican food....boy, did they have it wrong. The food was the most bland mexican food I've ever had. I mean, how do you mess up a chicken chimichanga? The good news was that it was cheap, but honestly, I'd splurge & try pretty much anywhere else.

Bada Boom? more like Bada Bust! A friend of mine made a reservation for 11 people at 8:30, I arrived at that time and most of the party had arrived 20 minutes before and still had not been served drinks (water, not anything complicated). When it was time to order we were informed that they were out of pizza (I have never heard of a restaurant running out of pizza) but yet we saw them making and sending out pizza to other customers that were there for a private event. They were also out of soup. When they brought out the bread (not garlic bread but bread rolls, odd) they only bought out 5 for 11 people. We had to constantly ask for water refills, the server informed us they were short staffed and they were also hosting a private even with at least 50+ people on the outside patio. When they FINALLY brought out our food which was more than an hour after we arrived lots of us had lukewarm food, they got two of the orders wrong and they asked for them to be canceled because of the amount of time it took for us to get served, so two of the people in our party did not even get to eat their entrees, a friend I arrived with only ate bread rolls for dinner. I ordered the Penne Bolognese, which was bland, mediocre at best, I could have made the same with store bought pasta and Ragu. The service was very slow, the server we had and manager need semantics lessons (later we found out that they were only out of the small pizza, not the large, I wanted to order that for dinner and so did my friend so we could have split one) and the food was nothing to brag about. They should have never booked us if they could not accommodate us along with their private engagement. And it wasn’t just us; other customers were waiting a very long time for their food as well. And why would they not order extra food in anticipation? The only good thing about his restaurant was the location, too bad the location is wasted on a restaurant like this. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you want slow service, and luke warm overpriced food.
