The best way to experience Scottsdale To get to the point, Scottsdale has a number of world class resorts/spas. But it is also in the middle of the Sonoran desert. Not everyone likes the heat. But if you don't mind it (and it's really not an oppresive heat) you can get some killer deals on rooms in the July/August time period. So you can really afford to step up your room level and experience a resort that you might not be comfortable paying for other times of the year.

We-Ko-Pa Take a ride to Fountain Hills, to the east, and play golf at We Ko Pa. Not only are the courses breathtakingly beautiful and staff-friendly, they are also 50% less than the cost of playing Troon North. Afterwards, stop in at the new Casino there.
