Without doubt the best hotel I have stayed at. Nice food, clean and well appointed room facing the pool and the gardens,scenery and view of the mountains in the morning is not to be missed.

Top Local Tips for Scottsdale

Heard Museum, Phoenix It's well worth a trip, to find out about the history of Native Americans in the region. It has a lovely cafe and shop, too!

black mountain Get the map from the parking valet station and drive south on north schoolhouse road. park where it's ok to do so and hike up the mountain. doesn't take long, but worth the view.

Try Scottsdale Ate at 2 restaurants in Carefree. Food at both was mediocre to below par.
