The first time my family stayed at the Sunshine in 2003 we really enjoyed it. Even though the decor wasn't much to look at, the pool was great! Since that time, however, the hotel has changed hands a couple of times and gone VERY down hill. Once we stayed there and there was lawn furniture in one of the pools and the hot tub was broken. We've stayed there when the pool was dirty. The last time we attempted to stay there, the "heated" pool was ice cold and the service was terrible. We've called several times because they said they would 'comp' us a room in the future, but as of a month ago the pool was still not being heated. I would NOT recommend this hotel until the new management gets its act together and begins running a hotel again.

FEZ is the place to be! If you are downtown in Phoenix, you must eat at least one meal at FEZ. FEZ is a really hip dining spot tucked away next to a Kinkos on Central Avenue. If you're not looking for it, you might miss it. The food is excellent!!! I can't say enough great things about the food. You have got to try the Sweet Potato Fries. And any side salad with the Lemon Basil Dressing, yummo! If you like fish, try the Apricot Glazed Salmon. Perfection!
