No complaints about the hotel service. But at the time of my stay, there were too many teenagers running rampant on the elevators and in the halls. Encountered one who, as I would push a floor button inside the elevator, would push the "up" button, causing the doors to open, thus preventing the elevator from proceeding to the floor that I chose. He didn't realize I could see him in the mirrors across from the elevator doors. After the third time of this little "game," I confronted him. At first he denied it, but when I advised him about the mirrors he walked away. Aside from the fact that it delayed my ascent, it was annoying.

Take in a D-Backs game if possible We saw the D-backs on our trip and it was a great idea. The stadium is really great---new stadium, nice, positive crowd, cheap parking nearby...

Apache Trail If you have a rental car take Hwy 60 east to Apache Junction. Then go up towards Tortilla Flats. Stop for lunch and try the hot chili. This is a very nice one day trip. Then continue (in your rental car) to the dam. There are several spots to consider visiting along the way. I don't think you will be disappointed. I have done trip twice. Rental Car??? Reason is, the last (and longest) portion of the Apache Trail can get very ruff and bumpy. A friend of mine took his car up there and damaged 3 motor mounts. We did it in rental car (Pontiac G6) and all was fine. Give it a try (the Trail).

Indian jewellery Old town Scottsdale has some very good shops for Indian jewellery and parking is easy.
