We enjoyed the quiet and the history. Having attended a sports event that evening, the hotel was within walking distance. Close to shopping, eateries, etc., Breakfast being included was nice as well.

The folks at the front desk were pleasant and the room was fine (if small). My one complaint was the noise level - the walls are thin.

Dehydrated It was 118 degrees, you need lots of water, sunscreen and chapstick.

Phoenix Heard Museum The Heard Museum is a cultural icon, and is easy light rail or walking (if its a nice day) distance from the hotel. It's about a mile North on Central Ave to Encanto. The Museum is right there. This is a great stop for a couple of hours that gives an amazing look at the natives cultures and arts from the region.
