Rental car tip If you have rented a car and need to fill up before returning to airport don't do it at the station beside the hotel because they won't let you pump until you pay first. How are you supposed to know how much gas you need to fill the tank? Also there are some seedy looking fellows hanging out around there.

Phoenix Airport Confusing for rental car pickup If there are two of you in your party, one of you stay with the luggage and send the other to pick up the rental car and then come back and get you and the luggage. The rental car transportation is rude and crowded. The individual rental car companies do not have their own vans. The buses that go to and from the rental car place are owned by the Airport, and it shows.

Great Shopping A Quick Drive From The Hotel We found a great shopping mills only a few minutes drive from the hotel called Arizona Mills Outlet Mall. There was tons of excellent shopping - all at great prices. Mill Avenue, by Arizona State University is a great street to take a walk or find a restaurant/pub...and it's only a quick drive from the hotel.
