Watch the Driving Arizona in genereal and the greater Phoenix area including Mesa has camera traffic enforcement. The have camers set up to catch speeders and red light runners. A spokesman for AZ said that the cameras are great because they can generate enough money thru tickets to get the state budget in the black. The traffic travels around 55 in the 45 mph zones and I have seen the flashes from the camera equipment flashing so often they look like strobe lights. At night on a crowded interstate it could startle an unsuspecting motorist and cause accidents. Also a month later a ticket can arrive in the mail and ruin what could have been a great vacation

Beautiful time to go, but could have been warnmer for my taste See all you can. They have great info at the front desk and seem knowledgable regarding the area, plus lots of brochures
