Social Hour and breakfast very nice. Rooms spacious and adequate. The only thing I don't like, being a Skier is that the Indoor hot tub has no working jets, and has not for several years. Also they never answered my E-Mail when I wrote them about it.

I had a GREAT time at this hotel! The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly, and you simply cannot beat the ammenities. If you are looking for a presidential suite at super affordable prices, this is the place! We are going back this weekend! Where else can you watch sex and the city from the privacy of your own heart shaped jacuzzi?!?!?

Nothing Sweet about Innsuites

We had 2 rooms reserved. Both were terrible. The carpet was so filthy my freshly washed house slippers were black on bottom. While it is true they were remodeling, this place had been a pit for years. I have written a complaint to their main website and received no reply. We had to argue with them to get the price we had reserved at on-line even though we had our printed confirmation in hand. The bright spot was the breakfast. It was great!

We had reserved two rooms. The rate of $98 for a room next to a construction zone was just too much. They are remodeling and the smell, noise and dust were unacceptable. We asked for a different rooms and received them. The other room had a broken tub faucet - just hanging there. No toilet paper holder. A hanger used for the lock on the bathroom window. The door did not close properly. Screens on the windows were not properly in place. The guests above our room walked ALL night long. You could hear them walk from the bathroom to the nightstand between the beds, over to the window, back to the nightstand. Not a very pleasant experience. I would recommend you stay somewhere else. We were not the only ones to complain upon checkout in the morning. Complaints of overcharging - rooms not up to par, etc. were all heard. Stay somewhere else.

A good fit for us

We have a new puppy, and had trouble finding a nice place which would take doggies (there was a surcharge). Our pup is crate-trained, and she enjoyed the stay, too. Our room was excellent, but our friends who were two rooms away said theirs was not quite as nice. It looks like they have done a lot of recent refurbishing of the rooms. Can you believe they not only served up a hot breakfast, but had a beer/wine "happy hour" every afternoon? On Wed night, they even had free hot dogs and burgers! I think the hotel is a good value and would go back.

We stayed at the Inn Suites last weekend and were very impressed. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms have recently been renovated. The suites have kitchenette, separate bedroom (some with jacuzzi) and brand new really comfy beds, living room area with couch, table and tv (bedroom also has tv), nice roomy bathrooms. We had a jacuzzi suite and it was fabulous! I would definitely recommend this hotel and have already been giving it rave reviews to my friends in Tucson. It is near trains but I didn't hear much noise more than anywhere else in town. I mean, the train does run through town - you can't help that. It was not a nuisance in any way. The free breakfast buffet included eggs, potatoes, toast, cereal, waffles, muffins, coffee, juice, and was just delicious. There is also a social hour in the evening that includes beer, wine, soda and snacks- all free. The cook for breakfast and social hour was very friendly and helpful. Friendly staff, clean, convenient to downtown and grocery stores. I think this place definitely needs to get a better rating, as I have stayed in many hotels over the years and this is one of the better ones I've stayed in. It is DEFINITEY worth checking out. Jacuzzi suites are sometimes hard to find if you don't want to pay $200-300 per night and we were so pleasantly suprised and impressed with the quality and service of this hotel.

Great weekend!

After a recommendation from a friend, we made our reservations over the phone. When we arrived, our reservations were not correct, but the lady at the front desk was very accomodating and got us into another room that was even cheaper and had TWO bathrooms. Since we were a family of 5 (my poor husb. is outnumbered by 4 females), that 2 bathroom thing rocked! The room was clean, and when the heater didn't work the maintenance man was up there promptly and had it fixed in no time at all. When our room was cleaned, they only did the bathrooms and the room smelled very strongly of PineSol. The trash cans weren't emptied in the room at all.

Having a hot breakfast with a nice choice of items right there on the hotel grounds helped our budget and our compliments to the chef! Not only was the food very good -- he was so friendly and just great to be around. The restaurant was very clean and bright and the food was very plentiful.

We do plan on making another trip to Flagstaff in the future and we will stay at the Inn Suites again. The hotel staff was very nice and the room was good. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Breakfast!!

We stayed at the InnSuites in late March this year (2006). We had booked on the internet and as we stayed for 2 nights got a very good deal. The accommodation was great for the family (2 adults and 3 children 14,15,16) We had a two bed suite. Each bedroom had a king size bed, plenty of room, bathroom and TV. The living room had an good size comfy sofa bed. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and there was a hearty breakfast served with a smile, ADRIAN is the best!! They had free use of a computer with printer linked to high speed internet. Flagstaff can be noisy if you are near the railway. This was not to bad so you could hear the trains but you soon get used to it!! We would really recommend this as a base for seeing some of Arizona's great sites.

InnSuites not so sweet

We chose the InnSuites because of the free breakfast, in-room wireless internet connection, and its proximity to downtown Flaggstaff. We were quoted a $62.99 AAA rate over the phone for a studio "suite".
Our room was OK but to call it a suite is a joke, it was a small room with a microwave in the bathroom. Some things were broken and dirty, and the internet service required a wire, but it was OK. The problem was a leak directly above the bed from the jacuzzi in the room above -- there was a steady leak onto the bed. When we reported this to the desk, they gave use another room, this time a 2-room suite with a jacuzzi tub for a $42.99 price for the night. This was fine, but early morning the pipes started creaking, waking us up. We moved to another hotel the next day. The breakfast was decent, happy hour nice.

Very disappointed

I agree with others that the hotel is not clean and everything is old. Our bedroom TV was broken, but they replaced it pretty quickly with one that worked. The breakfast was decent. The people in the lobby seemed pretty nice, but it was really slow to check out because everyone in line was complaining. I finally left and just called back later to do a phone checkout.

For the price this was a very outstanding hotel. Not many hotels offer a free full breakfast. With a complimentary social hour including 2 free drinks you can't beat that!! Very clean and professional staff. I have stayed 3 times at this hotel each time i notice a huge imporvement in renovations

About to cave in/Should be condemned

This has got to be the worst Hotel in Flagstaff. I agree with the other person that said sleeping in their car would have been better. I was very disappointed. I had a similar experience to the previous review. Room was not clean and initially sent to the wrong room. When checking out everyone in line complained that it was the worst stay they had ever had anywhere. I can deal with a few things being wrong but this was ridiculous.

The steps up to our room were disintegrating. The metal strip on the steps had pulled away from the concrete and the concrete itself was falling apart. This place should be condemned. I don't know if all the steps are this way but the ones on the upper section of hotels at the far end are like this. I wish I had taken pictures now but didn't want to think about reliving the nightmare at the time.

The bottom review had to be in the only nice hotel room at the entire place. This place was last maintenanced/cleaned in the late 80's early 90's. I will never waste my money here again.

I would definitely not recommend this place under any circumstances. The breakfast is definitely much better than anything else about this place but that isn't saying too much. The gentleman that makes the waffles is very attentive to everyone in the dinning room.

Oh one other thing you are right next to the train tracks so be ready for the 30min/hourly train that comes through town all hours of the day and night if you decide to ignore this and the other reviews. This may be the same with all the hotels but I don't think it's quite this bad everywhere.

I wouldn't wish a stay here on any enemy.

Good luck finding somewhere else to stay.

Top Local Tips for Flagstaff

Choose the SW End of Flagstaff Choose hotels at the SW end of town, away from Historic Route 66. Motels along Route 66 are old.

Try out Black Barts Steak House The staff recommended the Black Barts Steak House- Wonderful place. The Northern Arizona University Students put on a theatrical show for all guests to enjoy. Finding the restaurant was kind of hard. Make sure the hotel gives you a map of Flagstaff so you won't get lost!

Sedona, AZ Take one day to drive down to Sedona 30 mi. south on Hwy 89A through the Red Rocks area, and then on to Tuzigoot National Monument, or Montezuma Castle, both pueblo sites. Red Rock area parking pass costs $5, well worth it. Swimming and fishing along river. Beautiful red sandstone cliffs and valleys. Stop at Planet Diner in Sedona - 1950-style diner with great burgers.
