Very Disappointing Stay

For us it was a very disappointing stay because the rooms are not over viewing the valley, and its not visible in the brochure, so it was not as nice as we thought.

Top Local Tips for Denali National Park

Bub's Sibs and Lynx Creek Pizza (Denali Glitter Gulch area) Surprisingly good pizzas at Lynx Creek Pizza adjacent to the Princess Denali Lodge as a casual dining alternative. And if you're heading into Denali National Park on a bus tour, particularly the Tundra Wilderness Tour which lasts 6-8 hours, you may want to consider grabbing a wrap or sandwich at Bub's Subs to take with you for the ride. The park is absolutely majestic. The Park Ranger bus drivers are wonderful. The Park Service box lunch, as Borat would have it, "not so much". Best plan...eat a Bub's wrap on the bus, then go see those beautiful huskies at the park kennel, and see if they have any interest in your federal government-provided provisions. Ahhh....who am I kidding anyway. Those dogs get fed better than you at the park.

Go into the park to stay overnite or take the busride to the Kantishna lunch Wildlife is the reason

Shuttle to the Gulch Hotel runs a frequent shuttle down to the attractions and shopping venues. It's free and absolutely necessary! Road to the top is 2 miles of cutbacks up the side of a mountain.
