Great staff & service

Were in town for baseball function at Troy University. Everyone on staff that we came into contact with spoke to us. Very friendly staff! Rooms were clean & freshened up early in day. Breakfast was also very good. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

I had the worse experience possible on September 16-17.We stay at the Hampton Inn in Troy on September the 16th and 17th due to our pastor's appreciation. On the morning of the 17th my mother in law went to Sunday services at 8:45 they weren't even out the room yet and housekeeping were all in her room cleaned it from top to bottom yes that would have been a good thing if she had checked out or even requested housekeeping into the room, at 9am there was a knock at my door housekeeping are you out yet I stated no we are still here. At 9:33 another knock on the door are you out yet I stated no check out time is noon. I laid back down for an hour almost at 10:19 housekeeping entered the room no knock or anything she was in the middle of our room I said excuse me we are still here she left out and came back one minute later and asked what time are you leaving I guess I will have to come back and clean your room then. At that point I was disgusted I might as well leave I'm not going to get any rest by the keep knocking on the door and coming in unannounced so I took a shower and then I left upon me leaving as I was turning in the key the same housekeeper came to my son's side of the van and asked are you finally out of room 109 might I add it wasn't but 11:09am.I talked to the staff that was there she said the managers would be in on Monday from 7-3 no phone calls from the managers so I called he acted as if it they did nothing wrong and told me that he would investigate the situation and give me a call back it is now Friday morning and I still have not heard anything else from this Hotel or management AWFUL would not stay again rooms are great staff awful.
