This hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet @night and had outside security cameras. The breakfast served here was fine. I cannont think of any negitive things. If clean, comfort, and location are your main concerns then this hotel is fine. Stayed here for 2 nights for Gradutation @ Ft. Benning. I would recommend staying in the Phenix City area, as the hotels and Inns near the Base tend to be very run-down and in a bad part of town. This Ramada is about 15-20 min. from Ft.Benning(depending on traffic). There is also just to the north of the hotel a couple of fast-food places and a Wal-mart. To the South is an Applebees, Taco Bell, and a small shopping center w/ a K-mart. There is also a gas station next door. This is a small hotel and tends to fill up fast so book early. If going to Ft. Benning get there early as you will have to get vistors pass( current car registration and photo ID required) plus photo ID for all passengers in vehicle. There are 2 security check-points. |
