We had 36 folk there for 5 days doing a mission trip to Yaxhachen (south of Lotun). The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, the sheets and towels were soft, but most of all they staff were wonderful. They provided a great breakfast buffet each morning, beer in the afternoons and coffe with cake all the time. I recommend this place and would gladly stay there again.

My son and I stayed 2 days at the Plaza and the people were trusting, friendly and fantastic. We paid $35 US for a large very comfortable room. Breakfast was coffee, large plate of fruit, a loaf of fresh bread, butter, jam and eggs all included for $4 USD. the town was peaceful and inviting. Would recommend and would stay here again.

AVOID the Forum Shops in Cozumel Our Cruise "shopping specialists" (Carnival Cruise Holiday) told us that the Forum Shops in Cozumel were basically the only stores to buy from out of eitehr of our2 stops. The stores contained basically the same items as the stores near the port with items as much as 4 x the price as the stores near the port. The Forum shops pay to advertise with Carnival hence the reccomendation.
