Hotel Tecolutla is an absolutely wonderful place. It is far from the usual touristy places and the crowds of resort towns.

The hotel has great service, a better-than-decent restaurant located on the main level, two swimming pools (adult and a children's with a small slide), and plenty of space on the ocean. There are no hotels located very closely on either side so the beach is very secluded. Most of the other hotels are located off of the ocean on the main street of the town.

After dark, the zócalo livens up with street vendors, music, and lots of other entertainment. Highly recommended!
