Poor Staff
My stay at the Quinta Cesar was very disappointing for a five star hotel. Here are some tips if you stay at this hotel:
The hotel is far from the cathedral.
Everything in the room is control by your key card: air condition, lights, TV, etc.(the hotel clerk was adamant about providing more than one card).
Huge black bugs were crawling on the floor of the hotel room. The toaster in the breakfast room was not working, it took two people to get it started. The price of the hotel room online is inaccurate. I was quoted one price and paid a different price at the hotel. For the price I paid, the hotel was not worth it. The staff is incompetent and had problems communicating with the hotel guests. The hotel bar and restaurant were closed the entire time I was there. It almost appeared as a ghost/abandoned hotel. A truly imperial experience
My family and I spent just one pleasant night at Quinta Cesar in San Juan de los Lagos. Everything was perfect, except for the air conditioning, but I heard that itīs going to be able very soon.

Nightmare!!
No Airconditioning... the room was swealtering! The was a horrible odour coming from the utility room that smelled like raw sewage. In addition, they lost my credit card at the front desk, and made no effort to find it. If a front desk staffed by incompetent teenagers is your idea of 5 stars, then this is the place for you.

Good Hotel.. but could be great
The rooms are a little small, but clean and well furnished. The hotel seems a little understaffed, as the restaurant has limited hours and room service is non existent. The maid service is prompt and will perform laundry services for an additional fee. My biggest complaint is the lack of air conditioning, although a fan is provided in every room.
