Top Local Tips for Rosarito

Rosarito visit enjoyable Visit Foxploration nearby. Papas & Beer enjoyable venue. Shopping in Rosarito was fine. When traveling by car back thru Tijuana, beware of police. Anxious to give traffic citations and they suggest bribes to settle fines. While traveling in slow lane and being passed on the left by vehicles was "fined" $85 cash for "not respecting speed law." Be alert at all times!

Bring your own food Very pricy small portions. Bring pepto bismal

Do not recommend driving yourself around at night! I would HIGHLY recommend taking taxi's if you want to visit Rosarito from surrounding cities (i.e. Puerto Nuevo). We traveled from Puerto Nuevo to Rosarito for dinner one night and ended up having to pay off a couple cops. They said they had reason to believe that my boyfriend's truck was stolen (??) although he had registration in his name with a valid license. They will pry on the younger adults (we're 24 and 25) and were driving a brand new truck... Just be VERY careful and very courteous. Take a taxi when traveling in the evening!!
