| Well worth the $$$ |
|
We really enjoyed the Cat, very clean, courteous staff good food(except the Lobster.)Suites @ $50 extra per night well worth the money, "very" nice.
Great source of info was bussboy Axel - pointed our several fantastic sites / snorkeling, and saved us a lot of $$$; desk was a waste of time in this area. Could really use some nighttime boomer dance area. Enjoy! |

| Best Service and Staff |
|

I've stayed at 6 other all-inclusives throughout the Caribbean and I have never experienced more friendly and personal staff members as I did at the Catalonia. The food was excellent with so much variety. I didn't get bored with the food like I have at other resorts. The food was always the right temperature and well labeled. The beach is short and a bit rocky, but as huge of a beach bum as I am, I really enjoyed it. If you want to take a morning walk, the streets outside the resort are very safe and you can even stroll by the local marina to enjoy watching dolphins await their morning feeding. Very entertaining animation team that isn't pushy. Miguel played water volleyball with my family and couldn't wait to return each day to play again! The disco stays open until 2 a.m. for all the night owls and again, the staff there was great also. The ... Read more |
