| Its like fantasy island! |
| What a beautiful well kept resort. Nothing is too much for the staff, they go out of their way to keep up the standards, and they are very nice and friendly.
The grounds are huge with lots of things to do, cycle hire, kayaks, snorkelling etc all free for 1 hour every day. Booking advised!! The amount of restaurants, buffets and snack bars available is brilliant - you are spoilt for choice. Book as early as possible for the resturants as they are excellent, my favourites were "Arlequin" at Akumal, the Oriental at the Hasienda, and the Mexican one. All well worth a visit.
Take the local bus service (collectivo) a wee mini bus, into Playa del Carmen, its only $2 dollars each. Catch it on the main road beside the hasienda, its a great day out and nice to see abit more of Mexico.
This is the best holiday ever, you can relax as much as you like or you can make it a very active holiday. The choice is yours. You are spoilt for choice here at the gran bahia principe.
The beachs and gardens are very well kept by the staff, they are so well manicured.
Rooms are cleaned every day and beds changed often, the mini bar is restocked every second day with beer, water, juice, crisps and choclate bars.
Tipping advised.
Would not hesitate in booking this resort again- hopefully next year!! |
