Top Local Tips for Puerto Vallarta
the best tapas "vaso de oro" (recommended by lonely planet as well) is a great tapas bar: it's very easy to find. Just 100 mt from the metro stop ' BARCELONETA'. the address is Carrer de Balboa 6. It's quite small and crowded but it's worth a visit!
Spanish Rice Try the restaurant Cal La Nuri at Barceloneta , on the beach, under the walkway, next to the big fish. We had a nice dinner and an excellent paella there with the family.
Nice and convinent Public trasport is nice and convinent. THough at times confusing, if you have stayed in a confortable country like Singapore. Most of the things mentioed are in Spanish/Cataln. A T10 card is the best buy. Though Barcelona card is also good. I used both of them. There are some good discounts on museums and art places. Barcelona Card wont be cheap .. is u are not planning for lor of art and museums. Most of the freebies .. are not worth spending time with.

The service was really bad, the girl who made the cleaning to our room just made the bed and that's all.
There wasnt enough bathroom tissue, or soap.
The security at the hotel was extremely exagerated.
The check in and check out was the worst experience i never had in any other hotel in Mexico.
I will never stay again at this pleace!
