The Granada Del Mar offers a very nice retreat for a reasonable price. Some of the rooms have fireplaces which is especially cozy on a cool winter night. The beach is directly in front of the hotel (that is if you get a room that faces the beach) If you are on the back side of the hotel you only need to turn the corner. One of the newly remodeled rooms has a suite set up. There are 3 Queens (2 in one room) and a small kitchen. The newly tiled flooring and bathrooms gives a nice Rocky Pointe charm. This is a section of Rocky Pointe that I hope never loses its charm. Within walking distance there is everything you need. Eats, Drinks and oh yes, shopping where the vendors come to you. The Pithaya Bar now called Sammy's, named after the parrot, is a great spot to have a game of pool while sipping a bloody mary and watching "the game" of the season. Manny's is just a few strides down the street for a fried ice cream. What a great place Rocky Pointe is. The Granada Del Mar is comfortable spot to rest your hat at the end of the day.
