This past month I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Tropical Casablanca.
The staff were awesome and spoke English very well. My room was very clean and came with a small bar fridge and AC. The grounds of the hotel are maintained very well and is very tropical looking with the plants and palm trees. The hotel even has it's own cenote with fish and turtles in it. The swimming pool is a nice place to relax if you need a break from the beach. In the morning freshly brewed coffee is served under the palapa in the main reception area. That was very nice and a great place to hang out and visit.
The location of the hotel is great. Across the street is the beach one block in the other direction is Fifth Avenue with many choices of great restaurants. I liked the size of the hotel, it is small and so you aren't just a room number. The cost was very reasonable. This hotel is one that I would recommend.
