| Primo Location and Superb Atmosphere |

My wife and I stayed at the "Royal Porto Real" last April. This was our first stay here. We wanted something 5 star and closer to the ferry to Cozumel than we had been staying in the past. It was absolutely beautiful in a different sort of way then the other hotels along the Maya Riveria.
First of all, before I go on,the WHOLE place is in white marble. Top to bottom and front to back. It's like being in a railroad baron's mansion. The entrance is three tiered from the street of the end steet it is on (our beach is at the end) and impressive with sitting balconies and the large brass multi leveled fountain midway up as the focal point of wedding pictures and its gorgeous lit up at night
The Great Room just off the open and very comfortable lobby was immense with a very high ceiling. It was circular with a walkway around the second floor with the show halls, offices, shops and the internet cafe looking down on the huge open room.
