Excellent
I stayed there last year for Christmas. I had the time of my life. The people were wonderful and the food was out of this world. Can't wait to go back there.

A wedding and a hurricaine
Booked to get married on 22 August, but Hurricaine Dean put in an appearance on 20th-21st, so wedding postponed til Saturday 25th. Hotel very efficient in Hurricaine preparations and did not feel panicked. Had a hurricaine party in the room with wedding guests (those who could make it) and enjoyed the Thunder and lightning. Wedding was perfect, just as I had wished. Everyone on the beach came to watch as we exchanged vows and the photos from the photographer were brilliant. The staff looked after us and made the day really special. Thanks to the Wedding co-ordinator, the bar and restaurant staff, Diana the rep and the reception staff.

My partner and I were ooking for a relaxing but fun destination in Mexico for not too many $ and stumbled upon a worryfreevacations package at the RIU. Very happy! FOr anyone wanting luxurious, elegant accomodations, please look elsewhere, but for those wanting comfortable, but very very nice rooms/facilities/services - here it is! Rooms: Comfy with all you need. Little musty, but Ive lived in the tropics all my life - welcome to it! AC works well, lots of space, well stocked minibar! Food: Great! ALl well prepared and presented. Tasted great, large variety... tho hard to go past the chips salsa and guacamole! A la carte is very good for a quiet change of scene. Drinks: weeeeeeee! Not top shelf unless you ask, but plesae do! They are more than happy to booze you up!!! Great variety of tropical bevs - big list. (I suggest going through one by one, then coming back and trying it three by three...Read more
