Gret economy hotel, they had the best spot on the beach, about 4 blocks from hotel, ecxcellent food, great breakfast buffet. Staff was super from the waiters to the management. Located on 5th avenue, great place to eat and people watch. The inner courtyard made you feel like you were on a small tropical island, lots of trees and plants. This is not a fancy 5 star hotel but a clean comfortable bargin in paradise.

Top Local Tips for Playa Del Carmen

Public Buses Take a bus to Tulum from the bus station on 5th Ave. Convenient and inexpensive.

Playa del Caremn Great place to vacation. Have been here several times. Would recommend Play for everyne. Lots to do and see, grar beachs and the water is beautiful.I will go bback again.

To and from the airport If you fly into Cancun airport there are buses that run every hour to 5th ave in Playa Del Carmen. It's only $6.50 usd per person. Take the bus or a private taxi.(About $50 usd each way). The large transportation companies like Olympus rip you off.... Especially FROM the airport.
