The bus is the way to go to Playa del Carmen Getting to Playa from the Cancun Airport and reverse is easy, comfortable and very reasonably priced. For $7 US per person you ride an air conditioned bus with room for all your luggage. It is about a 45 minute ride and you arrive in the middle of the pedestrian shopping area of Playa and 1 1/2 blocks from the ferry to Cozumel. We found that many people used this route for their Cozumel vacation as flights to Cancun were very much cheaper and/or the flight times much more convenient. Have a great trip!
