Big Charm and Service in a small luxury hotel

My husband and I have been staying here for several years. Now that we live in Mexico it is still one of our favorite places. The staff at the Posada la Basilica has always taken great care of us. The hotel has undergone extensive renovations and now it is very luxurious. We were happy with it before and at first disappointed. However, we have come to love it even more. Some advise if you stay on the weekend as it is across the street from the Basilica is to avoid rooms on the main street. The rooms on the lower level are the quietest or the ones that do not face the basilica. Try Cha Cha Cha across the street, you will not be disappointed.
