Bus station The ADO bus station in the center of town serves as your gateway to the rest of Mexico. Two overnight busses leave in the evening for Mexico City. If you can't stand riding buses at night, take the 8AM bus to the nearby city of Villahermosa, and then change busses there for an afternoon bus to Mexico City, which will arrive at TAPO at 1230AM. The ticket office in Palenque can sell you both tickets for this route at once.
