My family, girlfriend and I believed we were going to have a great holiday. However, the air conditioning made our room damp, noisy as hell, not so great when your trying to have a quiet time to yourself and to top it all off we had stuff nicked from our suitcases. A camcorder, a mobile phone, bottles of perfume and money. Ridiculous. I dont recommend this place to anyone. If you read this and are already on your way, be aware and lock up ya stuff in your suitcases. I don't want you to go through the same ordeal my family have!

Love Love Love The Marival

I just got back about a week ago and I loved it!!! I admit the drinks are on the weak side and the snack bar by the quiet is not very great, but I still give it a 10 because the hotel is gorgeous, the people are all so friendly, and the animation team is the absolute best. They really know how to make it fun! This was my first time at the Marival and I plan on going back sooner than later. I absolutely recommend you stay there.

Beautiful place, okay food

The Marival is a really nice, well kept up hotel. The grounds are manicured and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The beach is great - soft sand, clean with plenty of chairs and shade for lounging. The food was okay - great breakfast at the La Percola Med restaurant. Italian food was good too - kind of bland though. The mexican food, to our surprise, was not very good. The buffet, although very nice and clean, was not good at all. However the drinks and entertainment were fantastic! The nightly show and disco kept things very interesting. Overall I'd recommend the Marival to anyone.

Stay away or bring ear plugs

If you'd like rest and relaxation on a beautiful mexican beach with palm trees swaying in the breeze, then PLEASE DONT GO HERE! However, if you insist on staying at this low class establishment that can only boast beautiful architecturally designed buildings and interior design, THEN BRING YOUR EAR PLUGS, 'cause I promise you, YOU WON'T BE SLEEPING OR GETTING ANY R&R. Take it from me and my kid, the place is like a 'CIRCUS' at nite with noise that can break the sound barrier.

DO NOT GO HERE! Our room (a brand new suite) was broken into and we had several items taken. After reporting this theft, the people at the resort acted like it was our fault, even accusing us of breaking the doors and windows. They would not help us make phone calls to cancel the credit cards that were stolen. They claimed no responsibility, even though it was their locks that were broken. If you are going to Mexico, go anywhere but here!

I Love Marival

I think that the Marival is the best. The animation staff is amazing. They make your stay perfect. It is so much fun, I have been other places but nothing compares. All the staff is great. And the resort is nice. I have been 3 times, first on my honeymoon and 2 more times just because its the best and will be going back this year.

I loved the people, place and service

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting 2 years ago. we were fortunate enough to be placed in the older section where we had a fabulous large room with a nice view of the ocean. I loved the people, the place and the service-absolutely beautiful landscaping. we are looking forward to returning over mardi gras break in a month, taking with us his parents who are anxious to defrost from an Ohio winter. His mom has never seen the Pacific Ocean! We are returning to this resort because we know how nice it is, and do not want any unpleasant surprises. I highly recommend this lovely all inclusive location.

I loved the Grand Marvil Resort, I had a wonderful time there. So much fun we are going back this June. The beaches are wonderful and the people there are friendly. If you are going to Puerto Vallarta this is the place to stay. We went in June on our last trip there and the last two night there were storms, but they cleared up by morning. I LOVED IT THERE!
