FORGOT TO MENTION THE SPA This was one of the highlights about this resort and I forgot to include it in my review...What a fabulous spa for relaxing and wonderful services...from the scrubs to the massages to the wraps....This place has it all and simply the best....

Avoid time share salesmen like the plague upon exiting Customs When you first exit customs and immigration there is a huge number of time share sales staff. Keep on walking and go directly to the outside unless someone is meeting you. If getting a cab, if it is hot, ask until you make sure you get an Airconditoned one. And also a driver who will turn it on. Also have a good idea from your hotel how much it will cost. Ours varied everytime we took one.

Rent a car for your stay--cab fares really add up! We definitely recommend renting a car for your stay in Nuevo Vallarta so that you're free to drive out to Puerto Vallarta to explore the town. Cab fare can quickly add up! Also, the major restaurants are located at various points along the coast. We had a great time zipping through the forest on cables with Canopy Tours. We chose the tour leaving from Mismaloya, and we absolutely loved it! If you have kids, they will definitely have a blast!
