My second stay was not so nice. The room had mosquitoes at night, and that made it very uncomfortable. In fact, I cut my trip short by 2 days because it was so uncomfortable, and the staff seemed very disinterested in my problem.
The staff also would not allow a good friend of mine to come up to my room one morning. I went down to the lobby and explained that we were going sightseeing, and that he was coming up to meet me on our way to breakfast on the top floor of the hotel, and the clerk at the front desk would not allow it. I got very angry, and asked to speak to someone else, and finally they allowed him to enter.
I understand security issues, but this was a friend that I've known for ten years, and even after I explained this, they were quite rude about allowing him past the lobby of the hotel. It left me with a very negative feeling towards the desk staff.
My first visit I would rate the hotel a 9-10 for my overall experience. My second visit only rates a 4-5. Therefore, the average score of my two visits would be a 7.
