market Its worth seeking out the markets in Merida. We found two quite close to the main square. They were great fun. We saw totilla making machines, fruit stalls and found prices to be lower.

Flamingos---go early get up and out of merida early and get to celestun before all the tours arrive and see the flamingos almost to yourself
