This is the perfect getaway

We rented the Villa Felix for one week earlier this month. This is a VERY comfortable setup; you have everything you need at your fingertips and if you don't the staff will get it for you. By the end of the week we felt like family. Every unit is right on the water. There's a comfortable covered deck on which to read or watch the waves. The staff treated us like family. There are several restaurants within blocks, and the grocery store is no more than a 10-15 minute walk. There are convenience stores on every other corner. We rented ATVs which was the highlight of our stay. What a great way to see the area; watermelon fields, banana plantations, rivers, beach. This is, however, a small community and being such you are surrounded by homes that have several family dogs, and they all seem to bark early in the morning. You'll hear early rising roosters also, but it's worth it. If you're looking for a laid back vacation to read or sunbathe, we would really recommend this place. The price is very affordable and they also have units with 3 bedrooms. The guests were (at least while we were there) mostly couples over 40, I'm guessing, and a number of retirees.l

This place is heaven in Mexico. The bungalow was typically & wonderfully Mexican--beautiful tile, outside eating areas, great garden, and wonderful service. The ocean outside sang us to sleep each night. We met fun people, who shared happy hour every evening at five while we pondered the ocean. I felt as if I was in the Corona beer commercial: that contented and at peace.
