We stayed here and it was not as advertised, the rooms are run down and the beds are double beds, not queens (as advertised), to say the the kitchens are fully equiped (as advertised) would be a stretch, there were no bicycles to rent (as advertised) the rooms were dirty and poorly kept, as the one review mentioned quite nicely, the family drama doesn't really add to the ambiance, the computer is the kids good luck on using it, they wouldn't call us a cab when we left, they wouldn't cook if they didn't feel like it. The one good thing is the turtle hatchery, so would I recommend it, only if you can't find a place elsewhere.

This hotel offers all that we could have dreamed of. Felipe and his lovely wife Linda went out of their way everyday to ensure our stay was an incredible experieince. The rooms are clean and the views are outstanding. Location is smack dab in the middle of everything!!Our #1 holiday to date. We were very fortunate to be involved in a "Turtle Hatch"...super cool. A great little hotel for all ages. We would recommend Hotel San Felipe without hesitation to any traveler wishing to truly experience a Mexican hideaway!

Great price and the owner(s) are nice, but the rooms are not clean, the cleaning staff are sloppy and the place has too much drama - people being loud, arguments and what not.
