This was our second time there, the first being in Jan. 2002. The staff are so friendly, food is excellent (true Mexican), the evening shows with the dancers are amazing! There are mainly Mexican families staying at this resort and that makes a true Mexican experience. The beach area was better in Jan. when the tides were lower, but great all the same. Santiago town is a 10 min. walk, offering lots to see. Check out the adult pool up top-it's usually quieter. The main pool is lively and fun with games, music and dancing. Our room both times was huge and lovely. Very rustic, unpretentious and down to earth place.
