Top Local Tips for Los Cabos
Breakfast dining in Los Cabos Breakfast places mentioned in our guide book were chock full of tourists. Although good, Casa di Mama, Pancho's and Jazmin's felt insulated. For something a bit closer to the local culture, try Mi Ensalata on km 29 of the Carreteria Transpeninsular. For the truly adventurous, there is a van that sells taquitos in the morning for 'park and ride' locals who seem to be mostly construction workers. It parks under the bridge at km 29 of the Transpeninsular highway. Heading west on the Transpeninsular, take the exit ramp right after Havana's Bar (it has a dark blue sign) and go under the highway toward the beach. The van parks in the hard-packed sand.
Venture dont be afraid to venture around Cabo San Lucas, a taxi wont cost you more than $6 to $10 US dollars to go anywhere and there are tons of restaurants all over the city, dont settle for your hotel food!!!
