Top Local Tips for La Paz

Fishing Highly recommend booking Tail-Hunter International for fishing. Google "Jonathan Roldan" ask for captain Chito!

Fishing tip Fisherman Fleet fishing tours is next door to the hotel & they drive you out to the beach where the boats are at. They fish with pangas, we were not to thrilled at first but it was a great experience. They captian we had was very good at what he did & would recommend him to anyone. His name is Pancho. Here the tip of the day if you are going to fish for more than one day make sure you tip the captain well he will make your next day well worth it. The dallor still has power in Mexico.

Don't forget there is a La Paz beach... Take some time and visit the beaches outside of La Paz. It's just a short, completely paved, drive past all the new resorts and marina out to Tecolote. Beautiful beach with a view of the island just off La Paz. It's almost deserted! there are two places there to eat (although the food is mediocre). The other great thing is the restaurant will serve you beer right to your little umbrella. Well worth the trip.
