Transporation in General There are many different ferries. One is $8 pp, is $3.5pp, there are car ferries too. Cabs are really cheap. I suggest renting a golf cart first, unless you drive a moped or scooter regularly. I rented from Pepe's and he was great. No problems at all $50 for 24 hours. The mopeds/ scooters are closer to $25 a day but I don’t think Pepe has those.

Isla Mujeres is a lovely island The plaza is a wonderful place to people-watch and eat street food, especially around the holidays. Kids are welcome everywhere, and the beaches, although crowded, are really very scenic and inviting.
