The people operating the hotel were relaxed & I was able to negotiate a small reduction in the room rate; the in-town location was very convenient; a king-size bed was a luxury; large doors opened out above the street making it possible to avoid the claustrophobic feel of many Mexico discount hotels; I highly recommend the restaurants nearby.
