Not fancy, but clean and handy to MEX 1 with good off street parking. The bar and restaurant serve very good food and there are other restaurants in walking distance. The TV is all Mexican but had CNN last time I was there. We stay at Don Gus 2-4 times a year on our drives to Loreto etc. Our next stay will be 10/16/08 on our next kayak/fishing trip. Don Gus...can't go wrong.

I would bet that Don Gus is currently the best option for the price in Guerrero Negro. There arent a lot of options. Malarrimo is probably the nicest in town, but it's more pricey. Don Gus is close to Malarrimo, so if you are using them for the whale watching tour you can easily walk to them. Don Gus has 16 rooms i believe. Ours was clean and had hot water. Really all you need. TV reception sucked, but i suspect that is true with all the hotels. $35 per night.
